Extra Support
Special Educational Needs

Being told that your child may need some extra support can be a confusing and worrying time. Below is some additional information that we hope will help.

Please remember that every child learns differently and at their own pace. Our role is to support each child as an individual, ensuring they have the right support and guidance around them to help them feel confident, develop their skills and thrive.

SEN Workshops and training for parents

All Things Inclusion and Autism offer a variety of online sessions designed to provide practical advice, information and support. You can find their latest workshop offerings here.

We also have a subscription to Sunshine Support, who provide a wide range of downloadable training sessions and resources. These can be accessed at a time that works best for you, allowing you to learn at your own pace and from the comfort of your home.

Please let us know if you would like more information about either of these services. We would be very happy to help.

The Local Offer

Parents who have children with additional needs, or who would like to find more information about local support services, can access the Oxfordshire County Council Local Offer. Here you will find services and provision available for children and young people (aged 0–25) with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). It covers education, health, social care, and leisure, enabling families to make informed choices.
